Hi all. Can anyone suggest any of the resouces here that would be good for a team of managers. There are struggles between the older managers preferring more tradition styles of working, communicating and managing, and with the younger managers using very different language, having a more laid back style yet still getting the job done. I need some suggestions on how I can highlight that both methods are acceptable provided they get resuls, however acceptance and understanding different approaches is what they need to understand.
Any suggestions will be gratefully accepted.

Thanks for your help. I think I will definitely use Minority Report and Witches of Glum among other exercises. Once I have developed this I am happy to share.

Hi Bob
I think it is more an appreciation of diverse approaches.

Tracy, I have a few activities, including Generational Coffee Chats, Reverse Mentoring, Generational Storytelling (work-related), Generational Panel Discussion, Generational Appreciation Wall, and Company History Session. I would be happy to share more details on the above. If you are interested, just drop me a line - [email protected].

Tracy, Does conflict exist between these two factions regarding the way they 'manage' and what exactly are you trying to achieve? A shift in culture? A unilateral approach to management? Or an appreciation that diverse approaches work just as well?
